About The Job

The Web Application Developer’s responsibilities include development of web applications, implementing new code in existing environments and troubleshooting software issues and performing fixes and updates. The Web Application Developer must be able to work both collaboratively and in a solo environment.

Languages & Frameworks

Must be able to work in new and existing projects utilizing the following languages and frameworks.

  • Front end languages such as:
    • HTML, CSS, JavaScript and it's superset TypeScript
  • Back end languages such as:
    • PHP, Python, JavaScript and it's superset TypeScript
  • Libraries/frameworks such as:
    • jQuery, Laravel, Symfony, Django, Flask, FastAPI, React, Angular, Svelete, Vue and Vanilla HTML/CSS/JS Frameworks as well as WordPress
  • Mobile/Web app frameworks such as:
    • React Native, Flutter and Kotlin

Duties & Responsibilities

  • Design, develop, test, deploy and support custom web apps and automation tools
  • Gather client software requirements, propose best practice design approaches and develop related web applications
  • Create UX design mock-ups and wireframes to be reviewed with business partners
  • Responsible for full-cycle development and deployment of web applications
  • Update environments with version control using GitHub
  • Act as a subject matter expert regarding web app development/deployment best practices, standards and procedures including quality and delivery methodology
  • Maintain and update service tickets, knowledge bases/software documentation and time sheets
  • Comply with all organization business policies, workflow processes and documentation practices

Education & Experience

  • The following are preferred:
    • Agile development methodologies
    • Previous experience in a similarly applicable role
    • Bachelor’s in a related field
    • 2+ years of on the job(non-school/university) related development experience
  • Ceaseless desire to deliver unsurpassed customer service and maintain knowledge and understanding of new technologies
